Quality Control is responsible for quality analyses of pulp, chemicals, paper, and cardboard. The operation plays an important role in the production unit's quality assurance work as our analysis results are used by the operations to guide production, as well as serving as the basis for quality certificates for our end products.

About the position

As a shift-based laboratory technician, you will be responsible for quality assurance analyses both individually and in teams. Your shift team is one of six shift teams responsible for ongoing quality assurance analyses. The analysis tasks are both demand-driven and scheduled, and are performed for different process sections. You and your workgroup collaborate both within the section and with internal operational staff.

Within the quality control group, we are staffed both during daytime and in a continuous shift work form. The work form is continuously shift-based in two-person shift teams.

Qualifications

To be the person we are looking for, you have

• A technical/scientific education at least at the high school level, or experience in laboratory work.
• Experience working with PCs and software developed for MS environments.
• Proficiency in Swedish and English.
• Experience from the process industry is an advantage.
• A valid driver's license (B).
